Water truck crash leaves Bethel dry

BETHEL, Alaska (AP) — Bethel's water and sewer services are back on track following a month of delayed service caused by what one city official called a “perfect storm” of mishaps.

The Public Works Department caught up with water deliveries and emptied sewer pipes on Jan. 23, KYUK-FM reported. Service started to back up on Dec. 23 when a water truck rolled off the road, leaving the department with one less truck and temporarily one less driver.
