TUMWATER — Twenty-eight workers that helped build the student life center at Green River College and the state ferry M/V Kaleetan have received more than $66,500 in back pay.
The workers were employees of Seattle-based Eltech Electric, which closed in late September 2015 and didn't pay them all they were due on the two projects, according to a news release from the state Department of Labor & Industries.
