Mountain pass work finishing for season

HYAK, Kittitas County — Crews working on Interstate 90 east of Snoqualmie Pass are wrapping up operations for the winter.

A new section of roadway was to have opened on Friday near the Price Creek area (about nine miles east of the summit). Rock blasting is done and roadside work zones will be cleared by mid-November.
