BEND, Ore. (AP) — The Oregon Department of Transportation will have to replace up to 90 percent of the curb ramps along highways as part of a legal settlement with disability rights advocates.
The Bulletin reports that ODOT announced a settlement with Disability Rights Oregon on Monday that requires the agency to repair or replace thousands of curb ramps that do not comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
