Hyatt Regency Lake Washington has opened in Renton at 1053 Lake Washington Blvd. N., part of SECO Development's Southport development.
The 12-story hotel is on the southeastern shore of Lake Washington, with views of the lake, the Olympic Mountains and downtown Seattle's skyline. It has 347 guest rooms and a 60,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. Hyatt said the space was designed using feng shui principles to balance the surrounding water, forests, mountains and sky.
It was designed by MG2 and built by Sellen Construction. Other team members include VECA Electric and Technologies, Holmberg Co. and Zenia Design.
Amenities include smart televisions, a 24-hour gym, yoga room, indoor saline pool and a full-service spa. Water's Table is an Asian-inspired restaurant with a lakeside kitchen and bar.
Regency Club guests will have access to a private club on the second floor, with 3,000 square feet that includes space for events and a waterfront boardroom.
Southport will also include luxury apartments, three office towers and retail.
