Construction job workshop tonight

TACOMA — The city of Tacoma is holding an event tonight for community members to learn about construction jobs.

“We want to prepare Tacoma residents for the family-wage jobs that will emerge as the Puget Sound region evolves,” said Community and Economic Development Director Ricardo Noguera in a news release. “The Tacoma-Lakewood metropolitan area is the 14th fastest growing region in the United States for construction employment, and now is the time to explore opportunities in this sector.”
