A deal has been reached between Teamsters Local 174 drivers and the five sand and gravel companies that employ them.
Jamie Fleming, Local 174 director of communications and research, said a contract was ratified today by 92 percent of the 294 sand and gravel workers.
Fleming said the concrete industry in Seattle “will be back to normal very shortly.”
The affected companies are CalPortland, Cadman, Salmon Bay Sand & Gravel, Stoneway and Lehigh Cement.
