TUMWATER — The state Department of Labor and Industries is offering grants of up to $150,000 for projects to improve workplace safety and health.
The agency says it's looking for innovative ideas for training, equipment or strategies to protect workers and prevent injuries. Past grants have funded projects such as green building safety awareness training and describing health and safety priorities for women in the construction industry.
