Search begins for new SDOT director

By JOURNAL STAFF

SEATTLE — Mayor Jenny Durkan announced the city has launched a new national search for a permanent director of the Seattle Department of Transportation.

Scott Kubly, the previous head, resigned in December and is now chief programs officer for LimeBike. Goran Sparrman has been serving as SDOT's interim director since Jan. 5.
