COAA forms local chapter to help building owners

    Building owners don't always get what they bargained for in the construction process, according to John Kaniss, construction manager for Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma.

    “There's lots of times when owners are going to want X and when the building shows up it's not X, it's Y,” he said.
