Contractor revenues rise as Elwha dams fall

    Workers last week started chipping away on Glines Canyon Dam, one of two dams on the Elwha River scheduled for removal. Cost to remove the Glines Canyon and Elwha River dams, which are west of Port Angeles, is estimated at $27 million.
