States find tolls the only remaining option

    WSDOT on July 1 is increasing the fees it charges to cross the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Motorists paying with cash will charged $5, up from $4.

    WASHINGTON — Driving onto an Interstate highway? Crossing a bridge on the way into work? Taking a tunnel under a river or bay? Get ready to pay.
