Sims calls for 80% cut in greenhouse gas emissions

Yesterday, King County Executive Ron Sims called for an 80 percent reduction of the county's greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

Sims' response to climate change is outlined in King County's 2007 Climate Plan, written by a team of county staff under Sims' leadership.
