Pollution study for Duwamish property

BELLEVUE — The Jorgensen Forge Corp. will study its industrial property along the Lower Duwamish Waterway to see if it is an ongoing source of contamination to river sediments.

The Department of Ecology said the company is one of several that will undergo investigations that could lead to cleanups along a 5-mile stretch of the Duwamish, which is a federal Superfund site.
