House is a learning tool for designers and buyers

    The Orchard will have cisterns to store rainwater, green roofs and the capacity to add other sustainable systems in the future. The $850,000 house will be built near Green Lake.

    A local development company called Fivedot is building an eco-friendly home called The Orchard designed to appeal to those who like the idea of living in the country and city at the same time.
