Park site eyed on Capitol Hill

SEATTLE — The Seattle City Council approved a plan to acquire land in Capitol Hill for new park space.

The 0.4-acre site, now a parking lot on the northwest corner of 16th Avenue and East Howell Street, will be purchased and developed with funds from King County and the city's Pro Parks Levy. The total budget is $3.2 million.
