National Park(ing) Day goal: rethink how we use streets

The Berger Partnership turned this parking space into a mini-park last Friday, with some artificial grass and benches made from local fallen trees.
It is generally agreed that parking spaces are meant for parking cars, but a local landscape firm, The Berger Partnership, wondered what would happen if people started thinking about them differently.
