The design team had 90,000 board feet of wood available to build the center. Most of it was harvested from trees that were planted around the site by Aldo Leopold and processed at a local sawmill.
The Aldo Leopold Legacy Center in Baraboo, Wis., is one of the highest rated LEED platinum buildings in the country.
