LEEDing to lawsuits? Some wonder if green buildings will become a liability

As LEED expands nationwide, kinks are being worked out and codes are getting tighter, but some disputes over green buildings may end up in the courtroom.

Jennifer McMillan Beyerlein, a lawyer with Lane Powell in Seattle, works with clients in the green building industry and is one of the few LEED-accredited lawyers in the country.
