$100M plant will burn wood waste

TACOMA (AP) — The owner of the Simpson paper mill on the Tacoma Tideflats says it will build a $100 million plant to burn wood waste.

The Simpson Investment Co. says the project will generate enough electricity to power 44,000 homes and create steam for pulp and paper making.
