City buys $3M site for Ballard park

SEATTLE — The city has purchased a Ballard site for a new park.

It paid the Seventh Elect Church In Israel $3 million for the 39,000-square-foot property at 7028 Ninth Ave. N.W., according to public records. That equates to $77 a square foot.
