New head for city sustainability office

SEATTLE — Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels announced Michael Mann is interim director of the Office of Sustainability and Environment. He succeeds Steve Nicholas, who led OSE over the past eight years.

Mann joined the mayor's staff in 2002 as director of council relations and was recently the deputy director of the Office of Policy and Management and led its Transportation and Infrastructure Team.
