Tips from Copenhagen could make bikers, walkers feel safer in Seattle

Sidewalks in Copenhagen are made of easily replaceable concrete slabs. They have parallel lines that designate lanes for different uses.

Last week, a group of architects and policy makers from Denmark and the Pacific Northwest gathered to talk about the ways cities should rethink their transportation infrastructure to create more livable communities.
