The state has released a plan two years in the making that outlines how Washington can cut its greenhouse gas emissions and green building techniques would play a key role.
“Growing Washington's Economy in a Carbon-Constrained World” was released yesterday by the state departments of Ecology, and Community, Trade and Economic Development. It was requested by the Legislature and Gov. Chris Gregoire as part of an effort to find ways to reduce emissions to 1990 levels by 2020 while creating jobs.
