Wind energy siting workshop this week

SEATTLE — The American Wind Energy Association will host a workshop in Seattle Tuesday and Wednesday. The workshop will address numerous issues related to siting wind energy projects.

Suzanne Leta Liou of the Renewable Northwest Project will be program chairwoman. Topics to be discussed include the regional permitting structure for wind projects, wildlife survey methods, technical issues and community relations.
