Green buildings: Are they worth more than others?

  • A recent study of three buildings — including Alley 24 in Seattle — tries to answer that question.

    Green buildings may seem like a good deal but some people have found it hard to put a price on the claimed benefits.

    A new study called “High Performance Green Building: What’s it Worth?” by the Cascadia Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council was released to help show the impact of green features and systems on the value of commercial buildings.
