STEVENSVILLE, Mont. (AP) — A Stevensville man is planting a new cash crop, and he's about to watch it get rolled up and hauled to Washington.
Nate Lengacher grows sedum and other region-specific succulents to be planted on green roofs. The plants are grown on a special mat that rolls up like sod so they can be transported easily; much of his current crop will become the roof of the Nintendo Co. building in Redmond.
