CH2M Hill spins off new firm: Critigen

Today, a new company called Critigen has been launched that aims to modernize the world's critical infrastructure by using new technology. The company is divested from CH2M Hill and is owned by Golden Gate Capital of San Francisco.

Remy Allis, vice president, global marketing and communications, said the company has been the technical arm of CH2M Hill for about 20 years though it really came into its own over the past decade as a team that helped manage large-scale projects. It has 700 employees worldwide. Many of those employees work virtually, though it has 60 offices around the globe.
