Idaho buys $5M hatchery for rehab

SPRINGFIELD, Idaho — Idaho Department of Fish and Game bought a former southeast Idaho fish hatchery site with the goal of constructing a new hatchery.

It said the project will boost the number of endangered Snake River sockeye salmon.
