West Seattle to get $3M driving range

SEATTLE — Seattle Parks and Recreation will hold a public meeting Aug. 4 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the West Seattle Golf Course, 4470 35th Ave. SW., about plans for developing a driving range in West Seattle.

R.W. Thorpe & Associates is the lead consultant, working with OB Sports, GBD Architects, IConsult, Dowl and Pan Geo as key subconsultants, according to the city's website. A two-story golf driving range with about 50 stalls is planned.
