College tests new kind of parking lot

The Washington State Department of General Administration is seeking a contractor to build a $2.4 million student parking lot at Olympic College. The project is a pilot for the Sustainable Sites Initiative program or SITES, the nation's first rating system for sustainable landscape design, construction and maintenance.
