Seattle chooses AEI/Cowi for study of district energy

The city of Seattle selected the AEI/Cowi consultant team to do a pre-feasibility study of district energy. The team will help Seattle identify areas in the city where district energy systems could be located, and analyze them for success.

Energy districts increase efficiency and reduce costs by letting several buildings share energy from a main source, such as steam, geothermal, biomass or waste heat.
