Experts look at energy future

Experts from across the region gathered last week at an AIA Seattle event to discuss innovative ways to solve energy problems, and one speaker questioned whether district energy systems are a viable option.

The potential for district energy is gaining attention in the city. A consultant's recent study concluded First Hill/Yesler Terrace is the best place to start, and some developers are considering how they could build district systems.
