Hale's Ales installs solar heating system

SEATTLE — Hale's Ales is installing a hybrid solar thermal system. The project is being installed by Net Zero Impact and is expected to save about $15,000 a year on natural gas costs.

A 1,200-gallon storage tank was recently lowered onto the Fremont brewery's roof.
