Maia Bellon will head state Ecology

OLYMPIA (AP) — Maia D. Bellon has been named to head the state Department of Ecology.

Gov. Jay Inslee made the appointment Friday. Bellon, who currently heads the Water Resources Program at Ecology, replaces Ted Sturdevant, who is now Inslee's executive director for legislative affairs.
