SDOT releases FEIS for seawall project

SEATTLE — The Seattle Department of Transportation released the final environmental impact statement for the Elliott Bay seawall replacement project on Friday.

The $300 million project will support the downtown Seattle waterfront and adjacent marine and upland structures. It will also protect the waterfront from coastal storm and seismic damage, and provide support for habitat restoration, transportation infrastructure and public amenities.
