Seattle ranks 8th in green office space

SEATTLE — Seattle is among the top 10 U.S. cities when it comes to green commercial space, according to the 2014 Green Building Adoption Index.

The study is a joint project of CBRE Group and Maastricht University in the Netherlands. The analysis looked at LEED and Energy Star data from 2005-2013 and included more than 34,000 buildings in the central business districts of the top 30 U.S. markets by square footage.
