Ridgefield port finishes cleanup

RIDGEFIELD — The Port of Ridgefield was named Port of the Year by the Washington Public Ports Association, largely for the $90 million, multi-year cleanup of a 41-acre waterfront site called Millers' Landing, which was cleared for development late last year.

Ridgefield is in the rapidly growing Portland-Vancouver area. The WPPA said the port has had a number of other development projects completed within the last year totaling over $9 million.
