Fairbanks may pass air quality rules

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) — Fairbanks area residents would be penalized for spreading pollution, under a proposed air-quality measure under consideration by the Fairbanks North Star Borough Assembly.

The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner (http://is.gd/uabyRA) reports that about 75 people attended the meeting Tuesday before the Air Pollution Control Commission.
