Big trees cloned to fight climate change

CAMP NELSON, Calif. (AP) — A team of arborists is cloning some of the world's tallest and oldest trees to combat climate change.

Michigan-based nurseryman David Milarch led a recent expedition to collect genetic samples from California's giant sequoias and coastal redwoods. Milarch is co-founder of Archangel Ancient Tree Archive.
