LONGVIEW (AP) — Weyerhaeuser will not appeal a federal judge's decision that found the company discriminated against a top union official for his labor organizing.
The Daily News of Longview reports a judge ruled in March that Weyerhaeuser demonstrated an “antiunion animus” when it abruptly revoked Greg Pallesen's leave of absence in 2015. That was after he worked more than decade as vice president of the Association of Western Pulp and Paper Workers.
