Park planned along Stillaguamish River

DARRINGTON, Snohomish County (AP) — Snohomish County is planning a new park near the Stillaguamish River thanks to property from an old county family.

The Daily Herald reports that Snohomish County purchased the 33-acres of land from the Curtis family in September for $310,000. The Curtis family had previously owned the property for 90 years.
