OSU-Cascades has plan to turn nearby mine into new land for buildings and sports fields

    BEND, Ore. — Although OSU-Cascades hasn't acquired the old Deschutes County landfill yet, it has a cleanup and restoration plan so it can build facilities, parking lots, sports fields and more.
