TACOMA (AP) — Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson says the owner of a now-closed Tacoma truck wash will pay $50,000 and spend two years on probation for dumping chemicals into the city's sewer.
The News Tribune reports that Ryan Lewis, of Cleaner Pressure Washing, pleaded guilty this month to polluting water and illegally discharging hazardous chemicals. He also pleaded guilty on behalf of the company to the same charges, along with a felony charge of defrauding a public utility.
