The one piece of raw real estate in downtown Seattle that is so well located that it might actually cause developers to pant, is about to be sold.
Amity Washington Inc., a private investment group that has held the property for years, finally is ready to part with the half-block parcel at the northeast corner of Second Avenue and Pine Street. It currently is a Diamond Parking surface lot. No buyer has been selected but Steven Kramer, director of Investment Services for Martin Smith Inc., which is marketing the 50-yard line property for Amity, says "We're close."
