Remote-controlled trains OK in Oregon

HERMISTON, Ore. (AP) — City leaders say it appears they can't stop Union Pacific Railroad from running remote-controlled trains through Hermiston.

The city acted in November to prohibit remote-controlled trains, but the Federal Railroad Administration has said the railroad is within its rights to use the technology, they said.
