Hanford to save $12M with 'cloud'

RICHLAND, Benton County — The Richland Operations Office at Hanford is using cloud computing to save $12 million over the next four years.

“This move to the cloud will save the Richland office approximately 60 percent per year in federal network costs,” said Gene Higgins, infrastructure program manager of the Richland office, in a statement.
