Oregon firm makes a drone detector

OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) — An Oregon City company says it has developed technology to detect drones and alert people when one is hovering nearby.

Tim Faucett of Domestic Drone Countermeasures told KGW (http://bit.ly/1wB6sNf ) antennas detect a transmitter and software determines if it fits the profile of a drone. Then the user is notified by text or email.
