Valley Forge makeover returns focus to Washington's headquarters
$6 million project designed to change the way visitors experience the site

George Washington’s tiny house at Valley Forge served as ground zero for planning and coordinating the Continental Army during its winter encampment from December 1777 to June 1778. Officials at Valley Forge National Historical Park say the building is hidden in an uninspiring setting.
