SEATTLE — The historic schooner Adventuress turns 100 this year and as part of a year-long birthday celebration there will be a talk and slide show Sept. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seattle Central Library about her maiden expedition in 1913 to the Arctic, lead by Roy Chapman Andrews.
